1. MAHAHUAL it is a very small town and the distances are very short so it is very easy to get around on foot or by bicycle, but if you prefer you can do it by taxi.

3. MAHAHUAL it is the only cruise port in the southern part of the Mexican Caribbean.

Location

MAHAHUAL is a very little-known paradisiacal and exuberant destination, it is a small town of 2,363 inhabitants (according to INEGI in the 2020 census).

We are located 286 kms. south of Playa del Carmen and 100 kms. from Bacalar, the "laguna of the seven colors".

Part of our economy is due to fishing, however, a determining factor is tourism that goes up to Puerto Costa Maya and down to enjoy the day in a Beach Club, stroll along the boardwalk or carry out some aquatic activity.

MAHAHUAL is a place for rest where you only need a hammock on the beach and contemplate the impressive turquoise blue of the Caribbean Sea and let yourself be carried away by the soft sound of the sway of calm waves and the refreshing sea breeze.
